New Layout and a Vlog! :D
May. 4th, 2010 05:59 pmPlease no one tell me that theirs looks totally messed up compared to the picture up there
Anyway, in other news I somehow managed to spend the entire first half of my day multi-tasking and making both this layout and my vlog for this week. And nothing else. X_X; TIME TO GET PRODUCTIVE.
Now I'm eating tiny pickles!

ohno's buttthe layout XDI have heard that about people's families, as well. It's the sad part of fandom.
I actually got my mom to watch Maou, which she liked
not as much as me, but it counts for something. As for my dad, he just calls them all sissy boys (jealous much?) other than that they don't care. Plus, my sister watches shows/dramas with me and we talk about it a lot, so that helps out in enjoying the fandom in the house. You're not thinking too deep at all. Fandoms can definitely open up your eyes to the world and most importantly, to yourself. I've definitely felt that I've become a bit more outgoing and true to myself, and I've made amazing friends that I probably would have never seen before otherwise. My fandoms have also helped me stay sane and optimistic in the worst time of my life.
Sure Arashi/asian culture can become somewhat addicting...we may be holed up in our rooms glued to our computer screens most of our leisure time...but that doesn't make it evil. We're actually paying more attention to world news because of the worldwide fans. I think it's an amazing thing to be a part of, which can only be understood when in the "club." *secret handshake*
