NEW LAYOUT I'M SO HAPPY WITH IT 8DD

Please no one tell me that theirs looks totally messed up compared to the picture up there ;; I tried to make it so that it looked okay on both widescreen and non-widescreen monitors.

Anyway, in other news I somehow managed to spend the entire first half of my day multi-tasking and making both this layout and my vlog for this week. And nothing else. X_X; TIME TO GET PRODUCTIVE.

Now I'm eating tiny pickles!

I'm not obsessed with pictures of people jumping in the air, but I DO like them. They're fun and have an energy to them. or something like that. XD

yeah I'm really glad my parents watch jdrama too. I never really thought they would until I was at my parents recovering from my wisdom teeth thingy and I brought Coffee Prince to watch and my mom sat and watched the entire show with me in 3 days XD; So I have been giving them stuff to watch for the past couple years since then.

So with that said you should give it a shot~! :D Your mom might like it XD

it's crazy how good (&totally empowering) fandom can actually be for you ♥ especially when it's about something as positive as Arashi. and it's bigger than just them, it's everything surrounding them, it's the world that they make... their existence changed a lot of things about how i think...
it's so surprising in a way though. i think most people just have no idea or understanding of just how this is such a good thing... it's such a shame they don't know.... :X

I think you make an excellent point in your Vlog. Parents are so quick to look down upon things they don't understand. But it's not just parents, I think people in general. One of my good friends has a boyfriend who constantly makes fun of the things she's into. That definately can't feel very good. I just think it's sad to take something so positive, like Arashi, and spin it into something weird or "not normal". That's why the Arashi fanbase is so great though, ne? Granted, there are always a few negative crazy fans, but it's nice to see how united everyone is in sharing the Arashi love. It's a good feeling! It's nice to know there are lots of people like yourself out there. ^^

And thank you for that comment. I'm glad to hear there are so many people who feel the same way as I do. I find it really sad that I should consider myself "lucky" that my parents accept me & my fandom.. T_T But aside from that there are definitely a lot of awesome people in this fandom :DD there are some who aren't of course.. that will happen everywhere XD but yeah.

I've heard from my friend that her parents don't allow her to like arashi , so no youtube that got something to do with arashi
it's sooo sad T-T

I have heard that about people's families, as well. It's the sad part of fandom.
I actually got my mom to watch Maou, which she liked not as much as me, but it counts for something. As for my dad, he just calls them all sissy boys (jealous much?) other than that they don't care. Plus, my sister watches shows/dramas with me and we talk about it a lot, so that helps out in enjoying the fandom in the house.

You're not thinking too deep at all. Fandoms can definitely open up your eyes to the world and most importantly, to yourself. I've definitely felt that I've become a bit more outgoing and true to myself, and I've made amazing friends that I probably would have never seen before otherwise. My fandoms have also helped me stay sane and optimistic in the worst time of my life.

Sure Arashi/asian culture can become somewhat addicting...we may be holed up in our rooms glued to our computer screens most of our leisure time...but that doesn't make it evil. We're actually paying more attention to world news because of the worldwide fans. I think it's an amazing thing to be a part of, which can only be understood when in the "club." *secret handshake*

I am thoroughly amazed at hearing you share how much you've grown/progressed over the years. I too have been overcoming personal challenges. I am graduating next year, and must admit the idea of applying to graduate schools overwhelms me a bit just now. You've had your last class. I don't know of your projects to come. But... girl, I support you!! Even if it is just in thoughts. Waves of energy. I support you. :)
