Again! XD I said I'd be back, didn't I? Well, Illinois was alright. The business for being there was obviously not exactly what I had in mind, but we ended up being able to do some "vacation-y" stuff anyway. We got over to Mitsuwa (after a long ordeal of getting lost and stuff.. ^^;) and I was able to buy a couple things >_>; Woo!



I went to get the August issue of Myojo, and since we got lost, we only had like a half an hour before they closed, so I was running around trying to find everything I wanted. I had in mind I must get the August issue of Myojo.. LOL So I go in, turn straight into the book store, (which had gotten remodeled totally since the last time there) and it was huge and I didn't know where everything was, so I was worried I wouldn't find it, but I turn into the bookstore, turn to the right, and it's right in front of me. :O It was so cool lol, so I snatched one and walked around the store and found out they had CDs as well. They had pretty much all my favorite artists, including DBSK, Arashi and News, so I was all giddy looking through their CD section, but crying on the inside at the prices... T_T



The Myojo came with a glossy pullout with Jun and Inoue Mao so I'm still deciding if I want to put that up on the wall or not.

But then my mom and dad came in and my dad said that he'd contribute $10 to something that I bought >_>;; so.. I ended up getting Arashi 5x5!! Ahhh lol, that was exciting. So, my first Arashi album!! It was strange though, they had like all the recent stuff for everyone except Arashi, like they had Summer Time and Pacific for News, T for DBSK, etc, but they had like Arashi 5x5 and some old singles of theirs, so either that means that someone is buying all the new Arashi stuff, or they're not getting it in stock, cuz it would have been nice to buy Dream A Live, but oh well XD.



Afterwards, my mom wanted to see the CD that I bought, so I showed it to her and well, in Sho's defense, it was kind of dark, but SHE THOUGHT SHO WAS A GIRL and I laughed so hard I never thought my mom would say that XD. And then I showed her the Myojo, and she looked at the cover and thought they were ALL GIRLS LOLOLOL DHJGKSLGHD hilar. Then she started flipping through it and then proceeded to freak out, because Kame and Yamapi were in it and she was like, "Hey these are the guys from Nobuta wo Produce!!" and I was like, "Yah! They're all in boy bands! Go figure!" and so she got all excited and had to show my dad when he got back in the car, so he probably thinks we're both insane.

My mom also started flailing over Coffee Prince to my sister and she just looked at her like she was crazy, and so my mom is all asking me for more K-dramas and J-dramas which I find absolutely hilar. cuz I never would have thought she'd get that into it. So I think I'm gonna give her Nodame Cantabile next cuz I think she'll really enjoy it. XD But really, she's absolutely obsessed with Coffee Prince and she's gonna make my dad watch it LOL.

Speaking of Coffee Prince, we went to this Korean market that we go to every time we go to Northbrook, and I usually get some sort of little candy, but I noticed there was a little area with tons of VHS tapes and like movie posters and stuff, so I went back there and I asked the lady if she had any posters relating to Coffee Prince, and I'm not sure if she spoke English all that great, cuz she just looked really confused at me and said, "Coffee?" and I said, "Yeah, Coffee Prince", and she said, "I don't know, maybe you could try Ace Hardware?". LOL um no.. but I was really surprised that she didn't know what I was talking about, seeing as Coffee Prince was like the biggest K-drama of last year practically.

Then on the way home, my dad let me play the music from my ipod for a little bit, and then we got to a rest stop and he started playing his own music again. I said, "Didn't like my music?" and he said, "No, it was fine, you want to listen to your music again?" and my mom was like, "YEAH I WANNA LISTEN TO SARAH'S MUSIC AGAIN".. my mom is turning into a JE fan I think.. So I played them DBSK stuff, and then I played them music from News and KAT-TUN so they could hear what Shuuji and Akira sound like.. :P unfortunately I didn't have Seishun Amigo on my Ipod which I could have sworn I put on there, but I guess not... but I guess my parents both like that song LOL.. oh man..

THEN, upon arriving at home, the Potato I ordered from someone had shown up :O Such fast delivery, but it made me so happy~! ^^

Huhuhuhu, so there you have it.. my adventures with parents and fangirling? XD

I've got a huge list of things that I want to get accomplished today and I'm almost done with one of them (LJ post about the weekend). It wasn't TERRIBLE without internet, but I really missed it T_T.

Oh, I also drew 2 Arashi fanarts while I was out there.. one was for xumiie, and the other one is an Ohmiya SK XD.





I still think Ohno looks like a re-re, but xumiie says otherwise I guess XD.. but I like Nino in the pic.

Now I only have to wait for the Arashi pics I got in the mail >_> I hope they come soon~! Also, xumiie and I have made some brilliant things but I can't say what they are omg I'm dying here.

One of these days I'm taking one of my cd's and am going to make my mom let me play it in her new van because it has a cd player. Though I'd have to choose one with appropriate sounding songs. That would be for KAT-TUN though..all the rest of them are clean since I only have like 4 non KAT-TUN cd's..Yamapi's Daite Senorita, Weeeek (LE I think), Its My Soul and Beautiful you/Sennen Koi Uta. xDD

LOL when I was playing KAT-TUN and News for my parents, I played Gomen Ne Juliet for Akira, since Yamapi is pretty much soloing it, and my mom was like, "I never would have guessed he's got such a good voice!" XDD and then I told them I'd play one of Shuuji's songs, but it's his whole group, and my dad was like, "I bet his music is much darker!!" and I played "DONT U EVER STOP" and my dad was like, "YEAH, DARK" and he made the devil-horns hand gesture, and then he was like, "Wait!" and he made the "Kon" gesture. omg it was so funny. Then my mom goes, "NO IT WAS AKIRA WHO DID THIS!! *konkon*"

Aw, glad to hear you enjoyed it ^^ I really thought my parents would not get into it... my dad is not so much, but he enjoyed Nobuta wo Produce.. My sister on the other hand still laughs at me and thinks I'm weird for listening to this stuff, so no support from her.. oh well, right? :P Do what you love to do, listen to who you love to listen to, watch what you love to watch.. ^^

LOL your icon is totally made of win. And.. well, Sho does look the girliest on the 5x5 cover (in the dark looking at it, I could see where she was coming from) , but really.. I think we're just so used to seeing girly-looking guys? XD

Actually my dad mentioned that he couldn't see Kame or Yamapi dancing around with a bunch of guys singing happy songs so I said, "Well then I'll give you one of their DVDs and you will see.." and he said, "okay!" and my mom seemed interested.. omg lol.. should I give my mom an Arashi DVD?? I don't even know LOL

Magazines are like crack but I so shouldn't be buying them ;.;
