I come bearing more translations.
Rejoice!
Or don't, whatever haha. Actually this time Sho gave me LOADS of trouble. So if it doesn't make any sense... I'm sorry
Also, to anyone who knows -- what the heck does TRF mean?? I know they use some like english abbreviations sometimes, but man, this one just got me confused. Thanks to
thebambinoweeps for helping me out on this one.

Please don't take this out of my journal without my permission.
DO NOT claim these as your own. I spend a lot of time translating these, please be respectful.
My comments are in italics like usual
Up next is Jun and the last installment
Enjoy!
Lately, I’m being seen on the streets and people are asking me things like “Are you Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi?” or “Ah, it’s Leader!” so I reply normally, “Ah, yes.” Just with that, the large group of people who know Arashi is still mysterious. Honestly, in my life, there is a mountain of mysterious things. Personally, I don’t feel the change around me, and even though the people around me tell me “Arashi is amazing!” we don’t think we’re amazing or anything. It’s kind of like it’s for someone else. It’s a mystery… or should I say a puzzle! Because isn’t everyone who likes Arashi “normal” after all? Personally, I’m not aware that I’m a celebrity or a performer. We are like this, so after all this time it doesn’t seem we’re changing. We won’t get cocky about it. Even when we did the Kokuritsu concert, while we all talked together and looked at Arashi objectively, it wasn’t “We’re awesome!” but things like, “So many people are here aren’t they…” and “Why did so many people come?” It’s not just me, but I also feel the other four members feel the same way. There are so many people who are supporting us, and right now there are no other feelings other than gratitude!
About six years ago there was a period when we would all get together and talk, but in the end, I’m glad that we did it steadily without a shortcut. The Arashi lately is… normal. (laughs) It’s peaceful. It’s always been peaceful. It’s the foundation. Furthermore, the atmosphere when the five of us are together is really great. It’s been great since the beginning, but I feel that as the years have piled up, it’s gotten gradually better. That Arashi, to me is a special knowledge. They're not my family, they're not my friends, they didn't go to the same school that I went to, we aren't the same age, and I didn't know about them from the start, but they are my comrades. (OMG AW T_T) A group, by no means can’t savor it. The combination of these five people have come together so well.
As for our future, I haven’t really thought about it. During the time of our debut, I couldn’t imagine what we’ve become today, so I can’t imagine the future now. (laugh) Just, I hope that we can go on enjoying doing the things we love with everyone.

We put out a ‘Best of Album’, and I think we are blessed with a selection of songs. A friend of mine is a soccer club coach and is teaching the young middle school boys, but if there’s kids who know my movements in the “Believe” rap part, and the fathers who’s kids bring to the concerts are singing to not the A side singles, but to songs like “5x10” and “season”, I’m really happy. The generation of Myojo readers are listening, it’s not TRF, but I’m really happy because our youthful songs are residing in the hearts of this generation.
Being often told things like, “Your relationship is so nice”, and “Don’t change”, I guess a lot of people think like that, so I also have a feeling like “let’s never change”, and there’s also a part where I feel that we have. Well, but I won’t change (laugh). When we were doing rehearsals for our tour, in order to remember the furi (hand dance), we watched old video rehearsal videos, but it hasn’t changed. When we weren’t doing the furi, we turned to the camera and messed around, and before the intro, we were all poking and tickling each other. I thought, “Ah… we haven’t changed at all!”
Our 10th anniversary is, we have personal conversations, so I’m really happy the people around us are congratulating us but for us, it’s great for us to think like this isn’t it. Our CDs aren’t selling because we can sing extremely well, and we don’t get good ratings because we have an extremely good drama. This is a world in with a lot of effort the result will not always be equal. For this reason, we stayed plain and put in lots of effort, and stayed this way like always, so we have nothing else left but our thoughts and performances. There isn’t a formula, so shouldn’t we just keep going the way we have been? I hope we can continue enjoying doing what we do into the future. For that, one by one, the work that I get to do, I’ll keep doing it with all my might. At this point in time, I’ve exceeded my imagination of things I’d like to try, because of what I’ve done. Even with this tour, every night, the five of us go out to a bar and just chat while we drink. The next day, I’ll be standing on the stage earnestly thinking “This is great”. These days, as much as I can look into the future, I’d like to continue forward. I hope that there is a future where I can say “Those 10 years are there, so we’re doing this again”.

Date: 2009-11-25 07:00 am (UTC)I think Riidaa's stress on how normal they are is important. It sort of reminds people that they're not necessarily super untouchables, but human, like us. I think that's a good reminder. To us fans, they might be extremely special, but when it comes down to it, they're pretty much just like us all.
What I like the most about Sho-chan's part is his acknowledgment of the fact that they aren't absolutely amazing knock out singers. I think that's important too, because this just proves they haven't let fame get to their heads. I'm not worried about them at all in this aspect. I think it's adorable and extremely normal at how they still manage to be amazed that they can get 760000 people to come to their concerts.
I love the Yama pair responses. They're extremely heart warming. I'm proud to say that these people are the ones I like the best. <3
Thanks so much for the translation! Still haven't gotten around to reading my copy of Myojo yet, so this translation is a blessing because I don't have to spend hours poring over the articles with a kanji dictionary in one hand and Japanese Grammar Online on standby. XD Meh. I'll get to them after thanksgiving. But thank you so much!

Date: 2009-11-25 09:06 am (UTC)I liked reading about what they personally thought of themselves now that it's practically their moment right now. =]
They're so humble even when they're doing all these amazing things and I think that's one of the reasons why we love them so much. =D
Thanks again!
