eggchanIt was requested I do 1280x800 alternative size for the wallpapers, and I did ^^ but.. I wasn't able to do Matsujun's because I forgot to save his as a PSD T_T Sorry Matsujun fans.

雨にまつわるエピソードを教えてください！
Please tell us about an episode in the rain!
ドラマ「姿三四郎」の現場を思い出す。オレが参加するロケの日、ほとんど雨だったの。まず収録初日から雨でしょ。「もしかして加藤くん、雨オトコ～？」とか、みんな気をつかって明る言ってくれるんだけど、連日の雨はマジでヘコんだよ（涙）。クランクアップの日だけ、ようやく晴れたんだよね。遅いっつーの！
I remember being on the set of the drama, "Sugata Sanshirou". It was a day where I was on location for the shot, and it almost rained the whole day. The first day they had to deal with rain. Soon everyone was saying stuff like, "Could it be, Kato-kun is the rain man!?", but as the days went on, the really kept bothering us (cry). Only on the last day of shooting, did it finally clear up.. what a pain!!
いま、使っている傘はどんな傘？
What kind of umbrella do you use now?
ここ数年はビニール傘しか使ってない。しょっちゅうなくすから。
These past several years I've used only a vinyl umbrella. I keep losing it..
｢雨」と聞いてイメージする歌や映画、ドラマなどはありますか？
When you hear the word "rain", are there any songs, movies, or dramas you think of?
KinKi Kidsさんの「雨のMelody」Jr.時代、バックで踊ってたから、あのイントロを耳にすると、いまでもつい体が反応しちゃう。
I think of the KinKi Kids' song "Rain Melody" from the time I was a Junior. I was a back dancer for that, so when I hear that song, even now I unconciously start dancing.
天気予報は気にするほう？
Do you care about the weather forecast?
毎日ケータイでチェックしてる。クセみたいな感じかな。でも雨マークが出てても、出かけるときに降ってないと、傘は持っていかない。
I check every day on my cell phone. It seems to be a habit of mine.. but if it says it's going to rain, when I go out and it's not raining I don't leave without my umbrella.
｢雨っていいな」と思うのはどんなときですか？
Is there a time when you think, "What great rain!"?
思うわないなぁ。雨はやだもん。まあ、たとえば、気になる女の子と歩いてて、急に振り出した雨に「じゃあ、お茶でもして、雨が上がるの待とうか」な～んでベタな展開になるのは悪くないですね。うん、悪くない（笑）。
Not really. Rain is bad! Well, for example, if you're walking with the girl you got feelings for, and suddenly it starts to rain, you can say "Well, let's wait for it to get better and have tea.", or something cliche like that wouldn't be bad. Yeah, it wouldn't be bad (laugh).
では「雨はこまるな・・・」って思うときはどんなとき？
Then, when do you think the rain is a bother?
雨が降るとさ、気圧のせいなのか、体がだるくなるんだよ。あとは、やっぱりドラマとはでロケに影響が出たとき。俺だって「降るな」とは言わない。あらかじめ降る日を決めてほしいね。毎月第３水曜日とか（笑）。
Raining, huh.. the atmosphere feels so weird, and your body becomes sluggish. Also, even though I'm on the set for a drama, I don't say "Stop raining!" . I wish I could decide if it is going to be a rainy day or not. Like every 3rd Wednesday (laugh).
メンバー内の”雨オトコ”は？
Which member is the "rain man"?
うっ？これに関しては、自分であることを否定しません・・・。だってさっき話した「姿三四郎」のスタッフさんから"水神様"って呼ばれてたもん（笑）。でもNEWSは雨オトコ多い気がするな。手越とかも、よく「もしかして、雨オトコ？」って言われるみたい。
Huh? Well, about that.. I won't deny myself.. Because lately on the Sugata Sanshiro set the staff has been calling me "Rain God" (laugh). But, I feel that there's a lot of "Rain men" in News. Like Tegoshi, it seems he says "Could it be.. I'm the Rain man?"

だから雨の日は外に出たくないんだってば（笑）。普通にジーンズにブーツとかじゃないの？あ、グレーは着ちゃダメだよ。水染みが目立つから。
I don't want to go outside on a rainy day! (laugh). Regular stuff like jeans and boots, you know? Ah, wearing grey is bad. Because water spots stand out on that color.
好きな飴は？
What kind of candy do you like?
えっ～、何その質問。まさかダジャレ？寒っ。おれ、甘いもの食べわないから、のど飴くらいしかなめないよ。
Ehh? What kind of question is that.. is it a joke? Terrible! Well, because I don't eat sweat stuff, I only have throat losenges.
近況を教えて？
Can you tell us about yourself lately?
ドラマ「ホカベン」の収録がんばってした新人弁護士役。ようやく知的な役が来たね～。なぜか頭より体を使う役が多かったおれ（笑）。現場はすごくいい雰囲気だし、ストーリーがおもしろいから、台本をもらうのが毎回楽しみなんだ。法律や裁判を取り扱った作品る人間ドラマだと思う。ちなみに、おれはまのところ室内でのロケが多いから、雨には降られてません（笑）。
I've been doing my best as a new lawyer in my drama "Hokaben". I finally got an intelligent role~. For some reason, I always got the roles where the role used his body more than his brain (laugh). The set has a really good atmosphere, and the story is interesting, so every time they give me the script, it's really fun. This is a drama about someone who deals with law and trials. By the way, I spend a lot of time shooting indoors, and it never rains (laugh).
新曲「Summer Time」について教えてください。
Please tell us about your new song "Summer Time"!
初めて聞いたとき、直感的に気に入ったんだ。夏が来るのを持ちきれなくなる歌です。もしカラオケで歌うなら、途中のラップがポイント。かけ声とかもユニークだから、ぜったい盛り上がると思う。PVは、さわやかなイメージ。オレは山下くんとペアになったんだけど、動きはほとんどアドリブでやった。ふだんのオレらのやりとりを切り取ったような雰囲気が出てるよ。
The first time I heard it, I was happy with the casual sound to it. It's a song where when summer comes, you lose all your worries. If someone sang this in Karaoke, the rap in the middle would be a point. And our voices are unique, so I think it will definitely raise your spirits. The PV has a fresh image. Yamashita-kun and I made a pair, but as it went on, we were mostly adlibbing. Our continuous giving and taking got cut off, but the good atmosphere was obvious.

What is your "Summer Time" memory?
ここ数年、夏は小山と旅行に行ってるなぁ。ハワイ、沖縄と行ってきたから、今年はバリとか？それかオーストラリアでスノーボート！あ、小山はスノボできない男だった・・・。
These past couple years, during the summer, I went on a vacation with Koyama. We went to Hawaii, and Okinawa, so this year maybe we go somewhere cold? Like go to Australia and snowboard! Ah.. Koyama can't snowboard..
