Today had been pretty crazy. TJ and I tried to go to a Japanese noodle shop for lunch, but it turned out they were closed for lunch on Saturdays :(

Anyway, we ended up eating at a different place that was a Thai restaurant. It was really good ^^ ahhhh Thai food *yumyum*

We went to Grand Slam to play some DDR. We've been starting to play regularly again for exercise. It's been going pretty good. We try to go at least 2 times a week. We usually get some cups of water while we play from the concession stand there (it's like a fun place for kids -- arcade, mini golf, laser tag etc) and get 2 cups of water cuz.. well, we're tired and thirsty while we play.

Today was insanely busy (as expected on a Saturday evening), and I went up to the concession and instead of seeing the usual 16-17 year old low-wage workers, I see this old wrinkly lady working there...

Me: "Can I just have 2 waters?"
Wrinkly old lady: "2 what..?"
Me: "Waters...?"
WOL: "*in an annoyed voice* Uh there's a drinking fountain down the hall there"
Me: "Okay.. then can I just have 2 cups?"
WOL: "I'll have to charge you .25 cents a cup."
Me: "Oookayyyy....? *thinking* uh no not gonna happen"

WTF!! I mean.. first of all she didn't have to talk to me so rudely. Second of all, I'm in the building obviously spending money on the shit there, and she can't even give me 2 lousy cups that probably cost them a whopping .05 cents to buy. Probably even LESS than .05 cents.

Talk about being stingy. I'm not gonna talk to her the next time I see her (which I hope is NEVER)

...anyway. The good thing is that I finally finished my DBSK Balloons design and got a CafePress site up. Hopefully some people will want them and help out a starving artist ^_^;

He used to go to Augsburg (where I went) but not at the same time.
I have known both of them for years, good guys.

Well we live in Bloomington, so it is a super short distance to GS. :)
