Date: 2008-12-08 09:39 pm (UTC)Chick flick movies? Do you want happy ones or sad ones?
My favorite sad chick flicks are:
~Beaches
~Joy Luck Club
~A League of Their Own (It's sad because it's happy)
Happy Chick Flicks:
~Ever After (omg ♥)
~First Wives Club
~Phantom of the Opera XD
~Sleepless in Seattle
~You've Got Mail
~While You Were Sleeping
~Simply Irresistible
~The Holiday -- according to my mom, it was cute, I have yet to see it.
If you like old movies too, I'd suggest "Summer Magic" and "Moonspinners". Both are old Disney movies starring Hayley Mills. My mom and I used to watch them all the time when I was young. ^^;; They're Disney movies...so kinda fits the Chick Flick category? XD
Oh! And it's not a chick flick, but a really good movie. It's "Cruel Intentions" and it's one of my ultimate favorite movies. ^^ I don't have many chick flicks, sadly. My parents made me watch too many as a child. (My dad loves musicals, old classics and Shirley Temple movies, so trust me, I had my fill as a child. >_<) XDDD
Hope this helps?
OH OH OH!!!
I'm Santa backwards. XDJUMPING JACK FLASH. The movie starring Whoopie Goldberg in the 80's (or maybe early 90's). Hilarious! XDno subject

And uh.. geez I've seen so many chick flicks that I love I don't even know where to begin. I'll have to look at my netflix queue!
Never Been Kissed is up there, too..
Steel Magnolias is more of a drama comedy that is very sad, but very good.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding is hilarious.
Sweet Home Alabama..
Once is more of an Indie.. musical... independent film but it's very good with great music.
50 First Dates is great, you've probably already seen it, Peter actually really enjoyed that one.
Peter also loved What Women Want, that's a great one.
Save the Last Dance I think you've seen but that's still one of my favorites.
Shakespeare in Love I haven't seen but it's supposed to be amazing so you might want to check that one out.
Devil Wears Prada is awesome but you've probably already seen that.
DIRTY DANCING, like #1 chick flick of all time if you somehow haven't seen it.
Love Actually I'm pretty sure you've seen.. Something's Gotta Give, Bedazzled..
Need anymore? :P
