haha yeah I hardly even notice the outfits anymore x_x; watched it again and said, "It IS purple crushed velour!" XD;
I don't mind that you add me, don't worry about it :D I'm sorry I can't add back right now though -_-;;
As for your question, I am mostly self taught. I hit a pretty big wall into my third year of studying, and that's when I ended up going to Japan as a study abroad type of thing, which definitely helped a TON, but I already feel like I've lost a lot of that since leaving. So... to answer your question, I'm mostly self taught, but learned in a classroom for a little bit after I got to intermediate level and now I'm back to self learning ^^;
It's very strange to say. At first it wasn't super hard. I was moving along very smoothly, until I hit that wall. Once you get to an intermediate level, there are almost no resources online that you can rely on anymore. That was extremely frustrating and I am facing the same thing a little bit now. BUT there are times when I feel extremely confident in the language, and times when I feel like I can't speak a lick of it. Self-learning a language is an extreme rollercoaster ride because you really have no idea where you are going, whether it's up or down, etc.. but ultimately that is all up to you since you are disciplining yourself to learn it.
Erm.. yeah so I've babbled on long enough here ^^;; I'm hoping I can open up my self-study bookmarks and share them with people because there are a lot of people on my vlog who have expressed interest in learning the language and were asking for help/suggestions. :) Alright I'm leaving now~ haha
Again, thanks for the comment and supporting me and my vlogs!! It really means a lot to me.
