Interesting day..
Jul. 13th, 2008 01:39 amWell, today was kind of interesting.. went to a short birthday party for my Grandpa and Dad since their birthdays are very close together, we celebrated them at the same time.
Then we went to a grad party for one of TJ's cousin's (or family friend? I can never keep track.) in Eden Prairie, which was pretty nice. We didn't do much though lol and we didn't stay very long, but it was fun.
Then when we came back I actually managed to watch a couple episodes of D no Arashi and Mago Mago Arashi each, which I'm happy about, cuz I've got a lot left.
Oh and since I forgot to mention it yesterday,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIGE
I also took my dad out with TJ to a movie yesterday as my birthday present to him. I took him to see "Wanted", which I enjoyed for what it was.. which was a movie full of action scenes, lots of blood and violence, and fun. My dad also seemed to enjoy it.. especially for the price he paid for it.
(Hint: $0)
I just finished my download of VS Arashi, but I'll have to watch it tomorrow, and I'm also interested in watching a Korean movie I found called "도레미파솔라시도" or "Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do".. I dunno how it'll turn out, cuz I keep trying to watch Korean movies and I always feel so dissatisfied at the end.. aside from one movie, of course.
Well, if you have a Korean movie that you love, let me know and I'll try it out because I'm always looking for a Korean movie that I can like.
Oh, and by the way, if anyone cares, the one Korean movie that I truly love is called "빈집" aka "Empty Houses", international title "3-Iron", but "Empty Houses" makes more sense as a title, I think.
Anyway, that movie is beautiful and I highly recommend it. Here, watch it on CrunchyRoll.
And the image they have there is also one of my favorite movie posters. lol, I just love everything about this movie..
Speaking of movies, I watched a Taiwanese one recently called "Secret", and I highly enjoyed it. It was quite interesting and had a pretty huge twist in the middle that throws you off completely yet puts all the pieces of the puzzle together.
Okay, this entry has gotten much longer than I intended it to be..
so I'm going to stop now.
